Good Morning Midnight is a photograph of the sun as it sets, lit frontally by a bright artificial flood light. In the photograph, this elementally distant light source, the sun, meets this immediately close light source, the flood light, and on the 35mm film, the two lights -- far and old, new and close-- emulsify together, creating a sense of no-time.
