The Museum of Contemporary Art (S.M.A.K.) is organising, in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent the exhibition Hareng Saur: Ensor and Contemporary Art, from 30th October 2010 to 27th February 2011. This exhibition is part of a series of national and international exhibitions that celebrate the 150th anniversary of James Ensor’s birth.
It is my pleasure to inform you that the curatorial team – including several Ensor specialists, Robert Hoozee, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, and Philippe Van Cauteren, Director of S.M.A.K. – would very much like to include Rirkrit Tiravanaija in this project.
You met Philippe Van Cauteren, director of S.M.A.K., on Art Brussels. He told me to contact you with reference to Rirkrit Tiravanaija. We are interested in some works of him (see attachment).
Do you know the owner or whom should we contact to get this work in the show. Keep in mind the expo starts 30 october 2010 and runs till the middle of February.
